Brighton Institute of Technology is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the national regulator for Australia’s vocational education and training sector, ASQA (The Australian Skills Quality Authority). ASQA regulates courses and training providers to ensure nationally approved quality standards are met. Brighton Institute of Technology meets all the requirements of registration and adheres to the VET Quality Framework that comprises: the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and the Australian Quality Framework (AQF). These standards are used by ASQA as an instrument in protecting the interests of all students undertaking vocational education and training in Australia.
ESOS, National Code and CRICOS

The Education Services for overseas Students (ESOS) act 2000 and associated legislation such as the National Code 2007 is the legal framework governing the responsibility of education institutions towards overseas students.
Any education Institution that recruits, enrols or teaches overseas student must be registered on Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) for every course offered to overseas students.
Students who successfully complete a Diploma level course are eligible to apply for entry into various Australian University courses with exemptions based on their study at Brighton Institute of Technology.
Teaching and Asessment Method
BIT courses are delivered using variety of different methods. Delivery methods include classroom delivery, lecture, group discussion, presentations, case study analysis. BIT assesses students using a combination of written assignments, tests and practical demonstrations. In some courses, assessments are based on competency, i.e ability to perform specific skills and it is done through combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, work placement assessments, direct observation and role plays.
