Campus Services and Facilities
Melbourne Campus : 672 Bourke Street, Melbourne, Victoria
Whitehouse opened its Melbourne Campus in 2008 in the Historic Royal Mail Exchange Building, situated across the road from Southern Cross Station. The campus' unique status in the fashion community resulted in it being chosen for the set for Australia's first fashion reality show, Project Runway, Australia.
The 6,000 sq. m. purpose built campus is a design environment in the heart of the city. Many fashion designers show their collections there while companies such as Gerber run industry-training days in-house and renowned brands such as Myer have launched seasonal collections to the media and guests at the campus.
Sydney Campus: 2 Short Street, Surry Hills, New South Wales
Located in the heart of the Surry Hills Design Precinct, Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia offers a range of unique venue hire options. Redeveloped in 2008, HPM's electrical parts manufacturing factory became a purpose-built design education facility, boasting expansive spaces with polished concrete floors throughout.
The space offers an industrial feel and is complemented by large windows filling each room with natural light. The expansive foyer with its grand staircase leading to an open mezzanine is a unique venue space that lends itself to a variety of functions, with views stretching from Sydney Harbour to Port Botany.
