Institution description:
Flinders University enjoys a well-justified reputation for its excellence in teaching and research. It has a long-standing commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for all and a proud record of community engagement.
Since being established in 1966, Flinders has achieved much of which we can be very proud—in innovative research, in high quality teaching and in community engagement.
We have led the way in providing access to higher education for individuals who did not traditionally aspire to University.
We have attracted students from over 100 countries and our alumni have built careers and lives that enrich communities across Australia and throughout the world.
Flinders' achievements are underpinned by the network of strong external links that we have developed with our stakeholders and with the communities we serve. We commit to being a university that is outwardly engaged, continuing to build the supportive and valued relationships which will be vital for the future.

Campus services and facilities
Life at Flinders is more than just lectures and study. It's good times with new friends and great times with old mates; it's music, relaxing, sport, fitness and food. You can even live on our beautiful campus.
Accomodation
Flinders is the only South Australian university offering on-campus accommodation in the Adelaide metropolitan area. There are two on-campus living options which are catered accommodation in University Hall or self-catered accommodation in Deirdre Jordan Village. And both offer high quality facilities and good opportunities to socialise with fellow students.
More information about on-campus accommodation.
Short-term Accommodation
Short-term accommodation on-campus is available to anyone during December to mid-February.
Off-campus Accommodation
If you prefer to live off-campus, Flinders Living can help there too. We run a free private accommodation service to show you what's available on the rental market and provide advice on your rights and responsibilities.
