  • Minimum university entrance requirements plus TCE pre-tertiary Chemistry (CHM415115) and Mathematics (MTM315114 or MTG315115). Entry to the first year of the program will be based on a minimum ATAR score of 85. The Bachelor of Biotechnology and Medical Research provides an appropriate pathway to honours and Research Higher Degrees. It is also one of the possible alternative pathways to study Medicine at UTas.   • IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 (no individual band less than 5.5) TOEFL (PBT) 550 TWE 4.5, TOEFL (iBT) 80 (no score below 20) PTE Academic 50 with no score lower than 42 UTASAccess-English Level 6 - 60% (no individual score less than 55%) Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English) - B Grade Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) - C Grade Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) Higher - C Grade
