Over the past 23 years, the New York Film Academy has built a reputation as one of the premier hands-on film and acting schools in the world. With our innovative hands-on approach to teaching, students find themselves completely immersed in their course of study, surrounded by award-winning faculty and working with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The project-based curriculum is designed to reflect a real-world environment while encouraging students to explore their own creativity and passions. A wide array of course offerings are available, including our hands-on intensive Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Screenwriting, Producing and Directing programs as well as short-term and evening workshops. New York Film Academy Australia is a Registered Training Organisation, delivering nationally accredited training in the area of the Arts and aligning its' programs to the hugely successful New York Film Academy in New York and Los Angeles.
In addition to the programs offered at the Academy’s campuses in Sydney and the Gold Coast, students can also enroll at the Academy’s campuses in Los Angeles and New York City to study in further programs.

- Gold Coast Campus
The New York Film Academy is proud to offer hands-on intensive programs on the backlot of Village Roadshow Studios adjacent to Warner Bros Movie World in Queensland, Australia.
Situated adjacent to the Warner Bros. Movie World Theme Park (http://movieworld.com.au), the Studios offer truly world class film production facilities. Village Roadshow Studios have been locations for the Scooby Doo films, House of Wax, Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Daybreakers, Fools Gold, Peter Pan, Terranova amongst many others.
All NYFA students study on the backlot, experiencing a working international film studio.

Australia’s largest and most famous city, Sydney is home to beautiful beaches, iconic buildings, historic landmarks, award-winning restaurants, and a uniquely vibrant culture. Sydney served as the location for numerous blockbusters such as The Great Gatsby, The Matrix, Stealth, Babe, Crocodile Dundee, Wolverine, Mad Max The Road Warrior, and Mission Impossible II. The campus is located at the Fox Studios Australia in Moore Park.
The New York Film Academy is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) with campuses in New York City,
Los Angeles, CA, South Beach, Florida, Gold Coast, Australia and Sydney, Australia. NASAD is the only accrediting body for visual art programs recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
